aziton1 Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 hello every1 I need to know how can I get a script like this one www.ultimate-guitar.com not the whole site but the section where I can search for tabs and also add tabs (Tab is a music notation for the guitar) so the script is adding tabs by me and the members of my site and also to search for it in my site one of my friends told me you can do it with phpbb he said "you can customize it as you like" but I get lost and dont know what to do so please any help? also I have a question what do you think is better for forums VB or PhpBb? thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are hoping to build a site that can compete on any level I'd recommend building a bespoke system rather than putting a third party forum in place of what is typically a file sharing website, albeit .txt files with guitar tabs. Before I answer any question properly it would be useful to know your competence levels in PHP, MySQL and even (X)HTML. gevans Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Just a note before anyone says anything. It's not necessarily uploaded .txt files.
