newbeee
I have not long moved my files from a plesk windows server to a linux server but forgot to check emails before changing nameservers. How do i access the emails without changing back the nameservers. as changing them back you defeat the object of moving and new emails would still get in the old mail biox while i check the old box for emails that have been sent while the nameservers were updating. and i really need these emails, as i dont know who sent them if any where sent. hope someone can help me out here, Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/138624-how-to-access-webmail-on-old-windows-server-without-changing-back-nameservers/ Share on other sites
corbin
You could use your Hosts file to make your computer think it's looking for the original server. Your computer would go to IP address a, and everyone else's would continue to go to IP address b. The hosts file is at (on most systems) C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/138624-how-to-access-webmail-on-old-windows-server-without-changing-back-nameservers/#findComment-724962 Share on other sites
