Parallax28
Hi, I have my linux box running without a monitor, and administer it via ssh server. I seem to browse directories well as an unprivileged user, but when it comes to making any modifications i must be logged in under as root user. I use a regular unprivileged user, that has permissions to edit files belonging to it's own group and member ID when logged on directly at the computer terminal. But is unable to make changed to files via ssh I know this is an security risk, but I'm not too concerned about that. Can anyone help me Thanks, -Mike Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/138696-ssh-remote-privlages/ Share on other sites
jcombs_31
Add the user to the sudoers file. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/138696-ssh-remote-privlages/#findComment-725404 Share on other sites
