Does the 'show create table' command reflect any updates/alterations done to a table, or does it return the original command used to a create a table prior to altering any tables?

It return the commands according to the current table structure.

no way to figure out what the "original" one was... but how could that be relevant?

don't know how the original one could be relevant, just wanted to make sure that the show create table did return the current structure....(working on modifying a pretty large 3rd party script and am changing the structure of a table)
