[SOLVED] creating new array from old array but only with non-empty keys

not sure if I explained that good enough int the title.

I have an array which may have duplicate entries and may not have any. At least one entry will have something.

I put all of the variables(entries) into the array, no matter what.

$poi = array($p1,$p2,$p3,$p4,$p5);

what I now want to do is remove the entries which are blank from that array...by either updating the array or creating an entirely new one.

Appreciate any help on how to do this effectively. Thanks.
