capella07
I am following these instructions for installing PHP on IIS7: http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/246/using-fastcgi-to-host-php-applications-on-iis-70/. Here's what I've done (per the instructions): In the "Install and Configure PHP" section, I extracted the non-thread-safe version into C:\PHP, renamed php.ini-recommended to php.ini, and made the following changes in the ini file: fastcgi.impersonate = 1 cgi.fix_pathinfo=1 cgi.force_redirect = 0 open_basedir = "[the folder where my sites will be]" extension_dir = "C:\PHP\ext" and enabled extension=php_mysql.dll I then typed "C:\PHP>php –info" at a command line and get this error: What am I missing? Thanks for anyone's help!
corbin
If I had to guess, I would guess the files are corrupted.
capella07
If I had to guess, I would guess the files are corrupted. Then everyone is getting corrupt files, 'cause I re-downloaded the zip twice!
corbin
The PHP binary alone shouldn't be failing, especially with such a vague error (well not vague, just useless to most people, including me ;p). I don't know why you would be getting that message when you straightup run PHP unless it's corrupt or some other program is interfering lol.
