Im having a problem with my mod_rewrite after installing wordpress onto my server.

here is my .htaccess contents:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>

RewriteEngine on
Rewritecond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.mysite\.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.mysite.com/$1 [R=301,L]

RewriteRule ^products/([0-9]+)(/.*)?$  /products.php?id=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^item/([0-9]+)(/.*)?$  /item.php?id=$1 [L]

RewriteRule ^()$ index.php [NC,L]
Rewritecond %{REQUEST_URI} !(^/?.*\..*$) [NC]
RewriteRule (.*)$ $1.php [NC]

ErrorDocument 404 /404.php

</IfModule>

Thanks for help with this!
