9three
Hey, The best example I can give you is monster.com. When you try to log in, it dims the background and the log in form is shown, like lightbox. Except that it has content inside with their server-side language (ASP.NET in this case). If the user success in log in, the affect goes away and takes you to your home page. If it fails, it lets you know right away without reload. Does anyone have a site where you can learn this using JQuery? Frankly, I don't know the name to this type of affect so searching on google is rather hard. corbin
http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/ Looks like that might work if you mod it to do content instead of images.
