I am trying to import a .sql file into a new MySQL database on Godaddy. I uploaded the file to the database backup directory and I'm using the restore feature to import the file. I already imported one file successfully to another database on Godaddy with this method. The second file generates an error log. The error log contents : ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 1: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' CREATE TABLE `wp78ecomments` ( `comment_ID` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL a' at line 1 Here are the first few lines of code: CREATE TABLE `wp78ecomments` ( `comment_ID` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, `comment_post_ID` int(11) NOT NULL default '0', The file I'm trying to imported was created with phpMyAdmin version 2.6.4-pl3 and the database version I'm importing to is 5.0 Thanks for you insight. corbin Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 Hrmmmmm I think it goes UNSIGNED BIGINT, not BIGINT UNSIGNED> Could be wrong though. Also, auto_increment should be AUTO_INCREMENT.
