gc40
I have been doing hosting and development for some time now and I would like to take my company website to the next level. How do I go about setting up on my website a way for my clients to search domain availability on my site and then select the one they want, and follow through with a web form that will email me the domain and allow the client to pay for it via paypal. I will then in turn register the domain with my registrar. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/146611-domain-search-availability/ Share on other sites
corbin
Lots of APIs. Look into Paypal's IPN (sort of an API.... more of a reverse API, but eh, it will work ;p). (I think they have something else that might be instant.... That would of course work better for your purposes, but I don't remember it's name or if I dreamed it or not.) As for domain availability, you could probably do that with some kind of whois tool or something. As for registering with your registrar, you will have to check with them how to do that.
