css links

i have the following css set up for the menu items at this site
[url=http://www.horsebackride.com/jb/home.php]www.horsebackride.com/jb/home.php[/url]. the active rule doesnt work, and i cant figure out why-

here is the css-

}

}

}

color: gold;
}

  display: inline;

also, what can i do to make the copyright box at the bottom have no underlines on the links- nothing i try seems to work.
