PHP 5.1
Mysql 4.1
phpMyAdmin 2.8
Apache 2.2

i've been searching for hours, still could'nt find the solution.  Everytime I try to run the setup.php i get a white blank screen(IE).  I follow the installation carefully...PHP, Mysql works fine, i've tested using php script to write to mysql with no problems...but I get blank screen when i try to run phpMy Admin..I followed the FAQ below but my problems is still not solved... PLEASE HELP

[2.4] Nothing is displayed by my browser when I try to run phpMyAdmin, what can I do?
Try to set the $cfg['OBGZip'] directive to FALSE in the phpMyAdmin configuration file. It helps sometime.
Also have a look at your PHP version number: if it contains "4.0b..." it means you're running a beta version of PHP. That's not a so good idea, please upgrade to a plain revision.
