[SOLVED] move tables in mysql

if i wanted to move one table in another db how could i do that

Got PhpMyAdmin? It has 'copy table' feature.

The long way would be to manually make the same structure.

 

 

You could do:

 

SHOW CREATE TABLE table_name;

 

Then copy and paste the CREATE TABLE return to make the table in the new database.

 

Then, you could just do:

 

INSERT INTO db2.table_name SELECT * FROM db1.table_name;

i'm working with WAMP server

Go to phpMyAdmin

select database

select a table

go to 'Operations' tab

there should be 'copy table' dialog on right.
