I am trying to join multiple tables that have basically the same columns in them.  I am running mysql version 4.1.16 here is my code.

$data = $db->query("(SELECT * FROM turnOverDataMachine WHERE entryDate = '$reqDate1') UNION (SELECT * FROM turnOverDataOther WHERE entryDate = '$reqDate1')");

does that query look okay? How would I go about outputting the results?  Thanks!

Okay Will this work?

$db = connect("myDB");//This function works

$obj = $db->query("SELECT * FROM  turnOverDataMachine JOIN turnOverDataOther ON entryDate='$reqDate1'");//I am trying to pull all the data from each table in one SELECT statement

while($line = $obj->fetch_array(MYSQLI_ASSOC)) {
echo data
}
