coolkid
I am just getting into Php and was wondering how to site one page but if your click on a link it would change the object within a specified area not a whole page because im making a site that has articles about different things and didn't want to make another file for every article. and to be able to add things from the site. Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/150066-php-coding-help-needed/ Share on other sites

objN00B
you could use JavaScript. im new to PHP as well. But, if you design a nice code core for a site, and only want some items, small select sections, to update, expand with static, etc. on a link click you probably wouldnt want your whole code core being re-executed. SSI, server-side includes, would also allow you to accomplish something of this nature. However, it really depends on your goals, and overhead. Thanks im going with samshel, please explain in detail, but to me it sounds like you need a database+ajax Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/150066-php-coding-help-needed/#findComment-788220 Share on other sites
