I wasn't really sure where to post this but anyway heres my question

Im developing an auction script and i want to have t so multiple people can host the script but each of the scripts is connected to a single database which i will host. Does anyone know of a way to do this without having major security risks

there are a couple ways to do this...i wouldn't give the scripts direct access to your database. instead, write a script that provides the data as XML or JSON data via a URL...like:

http://www.yourserver.com/data.php

then, write an app for the other servers that uses that feed
