mentalist
I have a site which uses mod_rewrite. Up until now i've dynamically written the CSS into the head section of the document. This enabled me to dynamically generate the absolute address relative to web root (using site settings). However i've just moved this off into it's own CSS file, no probs you may say, but this is a bit of a CMS, so the web root may not actually be the CMS root, and because it'll be used on variously deep paths I can't set it as relative. Also i've looked into 'RewriteBase /x/y/' but that doesn't seem to be allowing it either. background: url(/z/res/minus.gif) center left no-repeat; In the above example, the path from root to the image would be /x/y/z/res/minus.gif So. How do I set the absolute path in CSS if the CMS location ('/x/y/') is unknown?
mentalist
Not the most ideal solution but i've moved the resources local to the included css file. Actually this may solve it all... BRB
