Briant142
OK - I built a new server and installed WAMP5 - has all the goods - apache, php, mysql, sqllite manager and phpmyadmin. I was able to successfully get all services running and I have purchased a domain name and setup the dns to point to my public static ip. I have forwarded port 80 to my local ip of my new box as well as 53 (should I have forearded 53 for DNS?). I want to setup to resolve my domain name from this server- I need to install DNS and configure. I am used to using IIS but I believe I cannot if I am using apache. Can I get some direction on setting up DNS and apache to resolve my domain on my server? Thanks in advance - this forum is a life saver - I think I over comitted myself on this one but I have faith!
