I tried googling it and didn't find much. Wish PHP had some function built into it to do this. Or could ask someone else who would know. Or could look it up on the internet. Or could look up old newspaper articles. So basically my analogy is "where there is a will, there is a way". How would PHP know what is the MySQL's version, if you do not tell it, which server should be checked?
