jmcl3an
I was hoping someone here may have seen this problem recently. I have PHP based pages that have some buttons that use onclick to open a separate window for some data entry and then return back to the page when completed. This all worked perfectly up until about 2 weeks ago when it all of a sudden stop responding to the clicks. This is happening on both my live server and my development box. The boxes are setup as follows: Win2k3/WinXP, Apache 2.2, PHP5 & MySQL5. I get the same result from any client connection on any PC I try, IE6&7 and FF3. When you click the buttons, you get nothing as if they had no function assigned to them. I also get nothing in the FF error console when clicking. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. Here is the onclick I am using: <Label class="consolebutton"><input type="button" name="QA" class="consolebutton" style="background:url(images\qa.png);" onclick="javascript:return qaadd(this)"></label> And here is the function it calls: function qaadd(form){ openwin = window.open('qaadd.php', 'newwindow', config='height=400, width=600, toolbar=yes, menubar=yes, scrollbars=yes, resizable=yes, location=yes, directories=no, status=yes'); return false; } Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/154041-solved-phpjavascript-windowopen-problem/ Share on other sites
Adam
There's nothing wrong with that code. Perhaps the problem lies with the context is used in? Or maybe there's a problem with the rest of your JavaScript. Do you have a link? Adam! jmcl3an
Unfortunately no, it's an intranet page. I've had this code running on a page for a couple of years now and it just stopped working over the last couple of weeks. This is really strange now, it just started working again. Oh well. Thanks for letting me know the code was fine anyway. Hopefully it won't come back.
