ninedoors
Not sure where this is suppose to go as there isn't a section for it on these forums, unless I am really blind. Is it possible to create a section for PHP-GTK 2? Anyways, does anyone know of any online tutorials or good books for writing PHP-GTK 2 applications? I have googled and went thru the first 30 links I get but with no success. Is PHP-GTK 2 still being developed? I have found a book called Pro PHP-GTK that is written by Scott Mattocks but I am wondering if anyone has read it and is it worth the money. Thanks for the help. JasonLewis
Honestly, I got annoyed with PHP-GTK. I didn't put in very much though. It's not really big so there isn't much on it. I basically went off the docs that are on the main site when I was trying it out. DarkSuperHero
The comments on Amazon for the book you mentioned seem promising... also, have you come across their resources page? (http://gtk.php.net/resources.php) I love php, and it my first language, although im not entirely convinced by its possible Desktop Applications just yet....maybe look into Adobe Integrated Runtime...aka Flash on the desktop...which would also be cross platform... Cheers! Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/154107-php-gtk-2/#findComment-810436 Share on other sites
