jaymc
Hey guys. I use apache's mod_proxy to load balancer between 3 apache nodes. All seems to be working fine however sometimes my users, including me get this message Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request GET /little_scripts/kiss.php. Reason: Error reading from remote server Apache/2.2.8 (EL) Server at www.sitename.co.uk Port 80 Any ideas why this would happen? The apache servers are up and running fine.. steviewdr
I don't know. I suggest you set up some logging. You can install smokeping to monitor via http a website. Then you will get graphs of time to load, failed load pages etc. I would get something in there to monitor the proxy. I don't know off hand why that above error would happen (apart from the obvious network timeout etc.). -steve Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/156444-solved-mod-proxy-problems/#findComment-826650 Share on other sites
