cm0226 Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 I downloaded and fully installed XXAMP then wrote some basic html/php code, saved it in htdocs with the php file extension, then tried to open it with my browser.....no dice...it comes up blank. any input..sorry for the newbie question. PFMaBiSmAd Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 A) Does a .htm/.html page with just some HTML in it work so that you know the web server is working, B) blank php pages are usually caused by fatal parse errors or code that does not output anything. Post the code you tried showing everything in the file including the opening and closing php tags.
