Serious Problem

Is your database on the web or localhost? I'm just asking because I know that my web hosting company does backups daily of all mysql databases they host. Even if I didn't backup my own database, I can restore from theirs. Your host may or not do the same thing. If it is localhost, there isn't much that can be done that I know of.

I'm not sure how you can contact your host then to find out. If it were me, I'd be emailing support and explaining the situation and asking them to restore my backup because I know they can. I have never needed to do it though. I do my own backups and so far have never needed them.  Your host may not back up your databases, so you have to ask.
