mod_speling help

I have enabled mod_speling on my webserver (FC5, httpd 2.2) but it does not work on directory names. It will only work on filenames. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or what I need to to do to fix this?

For Example

Filename: /var/www/html/test/sample.html

When I go to http://localhost/test/sample.html -> WORKS
When I go to http://localhost/test/Sample.html -> WORKS
When I go to http://localhost/Test/sample.html -> DOESN'T WORK
When I go to http://localhost/Test/Sample.html -> DOESN'T WORK

Please help.

I'm not sure it's supposed to work on directory names.
