PHP Freaks your my only hope!

So I upgraded my forum from IPB 2.6 to 3.0 RC. Of course RC's can have issues, and I have one. A big one. IPB staff are aware of the issue but it's on the bottom of their list of things to fix. So I hope you can help me out. Here is the deal...

IE 7.0 will give a "Internet Explore cannot open the Internet site" error when any topic that contains media is click on. (half my threads contain media) The user clicks OK and then is brought to a page cannot be displayed page. If I use IE 8.0 the page will load but gives a parse error (I just clicked on the yellow icon in the bottom left)

If anyone has IE 7 handy then here is a link to show you (hope it's ok to post my link)

Clicking on the "winners topic" for example will display the error. I have screenshots as well if it helps. I'm fairly knowledgeable and can edit files with ease. I think this is a tag error but don't know what to edit or where to look.

Again thank you so much!!!

For those of you that also have the same issue...

I was able to fix the problem. IPB 3 is using strict XHTML (2.x was not), when you upgrade, the system brings the old bbcodes as well as the new ones which will cause the parse errors in IE7 (IE8 will ignore it)

This is to be fixed in RC2, but for now just edit the problem posts, delete the old html code and use the media tags to rid of the parse issues :)

Hope this helps anyone in the future.
