rudebuay
Hi, First of let me say that I am a noob at scripting of any kind but really want to learn php due to its almost limitless capabilities. I am trying to create a password reminder script for a software I used that didn't come with it. I have the script written however due to the nature of the software I had to have the user enter their email address to have the password sent to. To avoid this, I was wondering how I could have them only enter their user id and have the script attach the @domain to create the email address to be sent to... This is the line that pulls the user id from the form: $username = $_POST['userid']; I was wondering if something like this would work? Of course there will be entries for the Subject, Message and From fields as well. mail("To: [email protected]"); Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/163912-attach-domaincom-automatically-to-userid-from-form/ Share on other sites
Daniel0
I was wondering if something like this would work? Did you try it? Doing so you'll find out. Much faster than waiting for someone to respond here Check out the manual page for mail() though.
