jp2php
I use FileZilla to FTP files from my PC up to the remote secure server. The last project I was working on was giving me fits because it just would not work. After much frustration, it turned out that there was a small, one line file called ".htaccess" that did not show up under FileZilla. Is FileZilla not good for PHP work? Should I get another FTP tool? corbin
In linux a file prefixed with . is 'hidden'. It was hidden server side, not client side. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/164330-htaccess-dne-in-filezilla/#findComment-866870 Share on other sites
jp2php
Damn Corbin. Go to sleep! So, hidden files would show up through the ISP Host's Control Panel but not necessarily in FileZilla (or another basic FTP tool)? I'm not going to be up much later, but I'll look at your answer tomorrow. It is nearly 11:30 PM here, and my alarm goes off at 4:30 AM.
