sajithtgs Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Hello, Menu Name is show as (Excluded) select Menu_id, case when Menu_Type='S' and ParentMenu_Id=0 then Menu_Text when Menu_Type='S' and ParentMenu_Id!=0 then INSERT(Menu_Text,1, 0, Space(length(Menu_Heirarchy ) )) Else INSERT(Menu_Text,1, 0, Space(12)) End as MenuName from menu order by Menu_Heirarchy Here when i executed this query my resultset is Menu Name is show as (Excluded) Menu_id MenuName 1 (Excluded) 2 (Excluded) why it is like this how can i solve it.this Problem arise when i /*Space(length(Menu_Heirarchy ) )*/ assign Space Length Like this format when i hard coded the Problem solves.can any one help me Regards, sajith Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
