Da Foxx
I'm trying to create a registration script and I was wondering how would I be able to have the user select his time zone and have that time recorded into the database so that I can pull the out later and for example display the users current time and not the servers time. Can I do that with PHP? I would also guess this would be a math problem because I really have no idea really about other timezones except my local ones. Alex
Have a drop down menu for them to select their time zone, store it, then use date_default_timezone_set() Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/166679-timezone/#findComment-878877 Share on other sites
Da Foxx
Have a drop down menu for them to select their time zone, store it, then use date_default_timezone_set() So all I will have to do is just list Africa/Abidjan, Africa/Asmera, Africa/Blantyre in the drop down box and have that store information into PHP and have that later pulled into the date_default_timezone_set() function? That should work? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/166679-timezone/#findComment-878881 Share on other sites
