So, I have a bunch of variables, but it is just one called "date" that doesn't show up at all. it used to be a DATE variable, but then i tried VARCHAR too and it still doesn't show up.

here's a simplified version of my code that still doesn't work.. it shows the "id" variable, but not the Date variable.

<?php
$username = "username";
$password = "password";
$hostname = "localhost";
$database = "myipodbr_ipodusers";
$con = mysql_connect($hostname, $username, $password)
or die("Unable to connect to database.");
mysql_select_db($database, $con)
or die("Could not select myipodbr_ipodusers");

$query="SELECT * FROM ipodusers WHERE id='1'";
$result=mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error());

while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
{
echo "{$row['id']}";
echo "{$row['date']}";
}

mysql_close($con);
?>

any ideas? thanks!
