[SOLVED] one table column not showing up?

So, I have a bunch of variables, but it is just one called "date" that doesn't show up at all. it used to be a DATE variable, but then i tried VARCHAR too and it still doesn't show up.

 

here's a simplified version of my code that still doesn't work.. it shows the "id" variable, but not the Date variable.

while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))

echo "{$row['date']}";

?>

i just had defined date with a capital letter "Date" and so it wasn't working. thanks anyhow, and i'll try to be more specific next time.
