Orionsbelter
Ok, if i wanted to sell a website, is there anything i should take in to consideration such as legal documents etc?
Adam
I imagine it would depend on the website really, what's the site about? It would probably be worth drawing up a contract to cover both parties.
.josh
unless you are wanting to continue being somehow tied to the website (continue retaining some kind of access/ownership, continue getting some kind of revenue from it, etc..) the only interest you really have is making sure all ties are severed and they can't come back and bother you. Basically an "as-is" no warranty no work/support, etc.. sort of thing.
xylex
Make sure to include a transfer of liability clause as well so you don't get dragged back into it if they get sued, especially if it's an established site.
