hoopstars
I'm new to php... I currently have a login script and a couple of html files. What i want is that whenever my html files are accessed directly (i.e www.domain.com/file.html) it will redirect users telling them that they need to login first before they can view the page. how will I do that? thanks in advance for your help Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/172543-php-login-script-help/ Share on other sites
oni-kun
You will need to create sessions, if you already create a session when the user logs in than on.. file.php, you can write something such as.. if (!isset($_SESSION['username'])) { header('Location: http://www.example.com/login.php'); } else { echo "Welcome ".$_SESSION['username']."! Here is the file page."; } Simple, but you must make the HTML files .php if you want to use this code in each one..
