random1
I am tuning my site with the Page Speed addon for Firefox. Part of the report: 100% of the JavaScript loaded by this page had not been invoked by the time the onload handler completed. (Cached Result) * /scripts/javascript.js 119 functions uncalled of 119 total functions. mikesta707
Are you asking how to do it, or do you want to know if there are other methods of doing it? Define "better" the logic behind "deffering" javascript is to only load the javascript that doesn't need to be loaded before the page is loaded, thus making rendering time faster. I'm not quite sure what you are asking Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/174530-solved-deferring-javascript/#findComment-920364 Share on other sites
random1
I needed to know how it's done. I ended up with: <script src="scripts/javascript.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" defer="defer"> Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/174530-solved-deferring-javascript/#findComment-920701 Share on other sites
