Lighttpd and Nginx: Maximum monthly bandwidth limit of 4TB

I have 2 servers, one with Lighttpd and one with Nginx. Both running CentOS and website on server is built with PHP.

Is there any way to limit the monthly bandwidth my servers use per month with lighttpd and nginx? I want to have a 4TB per month bandwidth limit for users visiting my website via http and https. Once the bandwidth limit is reached I want a message to be displayed saying something like "exceeded monthly bandwidth" or instead of displaying the message just shut my servers down.
