[SOLVED] Correct way of doing if statement

I am trying to do an if else statement but keep getting a parse error in the line

			{

 

Here is the piece of code it relates to:

take out the semicolon and echo

 

like this:

 

<?php

if ( $rows['is_solved'] == 1 ) 
{
//stuff
}
