Hiding it on a computer you have control of is one thing (using non-coding methods), but on a computer that visits your site must be impossible. With regards to hiding your url you could run the page in a Frame. manwhoeatsrats Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 From my understanding you use to be able to do so if you made a popup window using javascript. I recently had to write a web application for my company's intranet, and was going to use a java pop up. No matter how much I tried to hide the URL, using different commands in java, it did not work. After a lot of research I came accross several sites that stated, the newer web browsers would not allow this functionality due to security reasons...... if this is entirely true, I know not. All I know is I have not been able to do it using javascript.
