jasonc Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 I use Windows XP as do most of my friends and for some reason all of them have the same setting which allows the PDF to be shown in the browser they view the site in. But... on my pc i get the PDF open in a seperate window in Adobe Acrobat Reader. How can i have the PDF's open like theirs does. Also i checked and the PDF's open in the same tab / browser on Vista pc's. I have uninstalled the viewer and reinstalled it but stil the same. using IE i get the error that the viewer version i have open is not 8 or 9. and told to try again in FireFox it opens in a seperate acrobat viewer. on Vista both IE and FF show within the window as it should. jasonc Posted October 11, 2009 Author Share Posted October 11, 2009 thats what i thought, but it is not working like it should. i have installed it and even reinstalled firefox and still not working. also internet explorer is not even working at all for some reason now. it shows an error that the version is not the right one for IE !
