NES, SNES and N64 are a piece of cake compared to Playstation. Has anyone had any luck with this?? I want to defeat my greatest gaming nemesis ........ seventheyejosh Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 Well, the emulator itself isn't illegal, it is the Playstation BIOS, but I believe you (*source needed*) are allowed to have them on your computer if you own a physical PS1. As for the roms, plenty of the emulators allow you to run from cd drive. So, if you own a PS1 (check) and have an emulator (check) and have copies of your old game (FF7 - check) you just gotta install it and get the bios.
