How do I install a linux program simply?

To be able to help you out any more we would need to know what it is you are trying to install. As Thorpe pointed out Suse does come with a package manager called YAST.  I personally have never use Suse as I am just more of a Ubuntu / Fedora fan, but assuming what you are trying to install is kept in one of your YAST repositories all you should have to do is YAST install packageName.  If what you are trying to install is NOT kept in one of your current repositories you can add new repos with the zypper command.

People often get over enthusiastic about there distros of choice.

 

Its a shame really as it doesn't normally help much.

 

Its the same story with Linux users who continually bash other OS's. Its just not a good example of how Linux advocacy should be conducted.
