It's on a paid webhosting

Then you will not have access to the server. You will have to set the timezone in the code. phpMyadmin is a database admin utility, nothing to do with the server.

<?php
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London');
// should print current date / time
print date('d-m-Y H:i:s');
?>

I have a mySQL database.. which is used on phpMyAdmin on my cPanel.

I have a newsletter. The user signs up to it.. and details get entered in the database. I want to display the time in there. I have got it to display the time, but not GMT london time.
