PHP form $_POST question

Quick question, not sure if I'm doing this right.

 

How can I get the value of a forms id element? Would it be $_POST['id']? <form id="test" . . .> </form>

The ID of the form does not matter unless it's the one being submitted. You have to have "action=page.php", your parser or the own page and if you have a textarea for example..

<form action="form.php">

  <textarea id="this"> </textarea> And then:

</form>

if (isset($_POST['this'])) {

      echo "$_POST['this']";

}
