Has anyone done the CompTIA Network+ cert?

I started at an IT Academy called Zenos back in September and have passed my CompTIA A+ exams (both essenstials and electives, 1st try).

This week we are starting preperation for the Network+ exam and I've heard it's quite difficult, we get 50% off the exam but that still means £60 per try. I was just wondering if anyone has taken/passed the exam and how difficult they found it?

We only have about a week prep for this exam and we had around 5 weeks for the A+.

Nice, please let me know how it goes.

We get free books and currently were doing some in-class prep. It isn't too difficult but I'm only on day two for Network+, seems you just need to know the media types, common protocols and their uses / default ports, OSI model (layers and their functions) and connector types etc.

All              [Application]

Pussy        [Presentation]

Seems        [Session]

To              [Transport]

Need          [Network]

Deep          [Data link]

Penetration [Physical]

Thats the way I remember the OSI model layers. =p

P.S Good luck :)
