Andy-H
I started at an IT Academy called Zenos back in September and have passed my CompTIA A+ exams (both essenstials and electives, 1st try). This week we are starting preperation for the Network+ exam and I've heard it's quite difficult, we get 50% off the exam but that still means £60 per try. I was just wondering if anyone has taken/passed the exam and how difficult they found it? We only have about a week prep for this exam and we had around 5 weeks for the A+. steelmanronald06
Funny you should ask. Three weeks ago I bought a kit from borders that has a training book, cd with 12 practice exams, and flash cards. I'm hoping to take mine soon. Andy-H
Nice, please let me know how it goes. We get free books and currently were doing some in-class prep. It isn't too difficult but I'm only on day two for Network+, seems you just need to know the media types, common protocols and their uses / default ports, OSI model (layers and their functions) and connector types etc. All [Application] Pussy [Presentation] Seems [Session] To [Transport] Need [Network] Deep [Data link] Penetration [Physical] Thats the way I remember the OSI model layers. =p P.S Good luck Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/182514-has-anyone-done-the-comptia-network-cert/#findComment-964989 Share on other sites
