recovery cd xp home edition COA help

guys i just ran recovery cd and reinstalled factory setting back but on the book it said iwould be asked for some COA number which i did not see anywhere please guide me wher and how do i enter the COA number?

Isn't there some sort of sticker on your computer with it?

yes daniel i got the sticker with the number but when i run the recovery cd it noweher asked me to enter the number so what does it means? as on the booklet its written i may have to enter the COA but i never did get the option to enter it so is there some manual way i go enter the COA?

 

 

also help me daniel my internet explorer is not displayin the address bar where we enter url is missing dunno how it got hid  how do i make it to show again?

1. If you weren't asked for it, what is the issue? You yourself said the book said it might not.

the issue is what if now my pc is on some trial version? i have never done it before that is why i want to know what went wrong that i never

had to enter the COA when i used the recovery cd whereas it said i may have to provide it. anyways thanks for the help with the address bar it ate up my head :-)
