PugJr
I wish to install 9.10 Ubuntu server, but I'm having difficulties on getting to that point. I do not have any USB related objects (Besides a mouse but that doesn't matter), no cd-writer, and of course no Ubuntu CD and I do not wish to wait 6 weeks to get one. (Or pay any money for that matter.) All guides want a USB or a CD it seems. I do have a floppy drive that can read AND write, as well as two HDDs. I don't know if you could like boot off another HDD like its a .iso or something. Thanks. EDIT: I realize there is a topic similar to mine, but Daniel said just use a different computer and install it through there and then move the HD back which doesn't work for me as I can't get one to install on any of the machines I have. PugJr
Thanks for the link but I am having some troubles obtaining my NIC. http://www.rom-o-matic.net/etherboot/etherboot-git/etherboot.git/contrib/rom-o-matic/ Its an RTL8139/810x but I do not know which one it is or how I would check to find out which one I'm using. I'm currently using Vista. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/183952-installing-ubuntu/#findComment-971066 Share on other sites
