Tonic-_- Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 I've been wanting to do a leaderboard system for PS3 Trophies on a website I run and have already considered of using MySQL (Of course) but the more I keep trying to think of how the main part of the script will work. I was thinking of having it detect the amount of trophies a user has (a user that has used our trophy cards) and calculate a score and change its position in the ranking but you know.. I just absolutely cannot figure out how I would do it... Everytime I goto take a crack at it I end up thinking of the problems or errors it would cause and just give up on it. Any ideas? cags Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 How are you getting what trophies the person has (ie how does your trophy cards system work) and how do you wish to rank trophies? Should they be ranked on total count or will for example a bronze be worth 1 point and a platinum worth say 10 points?
