The "flashing title bar" appears as an orange colored, flashing tab in Opera. (haven't checked other browsers) It occurs when you receieve a new message in Gmail's inline chat. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? Thanks! Depends on how "instant" the alert needs to be) that checks for a new message in the db. What I need to know how to do is visually flash the title bar so it changes color, or something like that. I've begun doubting if Gmail even flashes the title bar... was I hallucinating?
