What is the difference between "snippet" & "script"~?

Recommended Posts

Snippet is a portion of a script. Next time your looking for answers on such things try Google:

The define: feature really rocks

As you stated originally a snippet is simply a short part of a script that generally performs one function and is reusable in different scripts, whereas a script has an overall objective that would normally include many tasks. For example you could have a register script for your site that uses a snippet of code to validate the username is alphanumeric.
