RaythMistwalker
theres no difference except some hosts use case sensitive so you need to have .JPG and .jpg Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187583-jpg-vs-jpg/#findComment-990365 Share on other sites
robert_gsfame
what do you mean by case sensitive? once i save my JPEG image file, i will automatically have .jpg not .JPG.... RaythMistwalker
for example the host i have atm is case sensitive: domain.com/FOLDER/file.jpg is different to domain.com/folder/file.jpg hence same way domain.com/file.jpg is different to domain.com/file.JPG It only depends on where the file is hosted. If unsure ask your host. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187583-jpg-vs-jpg/#findComment-990372 Share on other sites
PHP Monkeh
There's no difference except the fact one is in capitals and the other isn't. They're exactly the same file types and extensions. You could even have no extension but it still be a jpg image - don't get too attached to them Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187583-jpg-vs-jpg/#findComment-990374 Share on other sites

Lamez
you can (if you are running windows) open up the run box, type CMD then locate the file (put them on your desktop), type CD desktop, then type ren oldfilename.JPG newfilename.jpg Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/187583-jpg-vs-jpg/#findComment-990392 Share on other sites
