liamloveslearning
Hi everybody, Recently my workplace have purchased their own dedicated server so we can host all of our websites ourselves; I've uploaded all of the websites only the email forms have ceased working, could this potentially be something we need to configure on the server? trq
Yeah, mail servers are something that really need to be done right or they can cause all sorts of security issues. You can also configure things to work using a remotely hosted mail service like gmail or even your isp usually. Might be a better way to go. You would simply install a package called ssmtp and configure it accordingly. This will give you a sendmail clone that will forward your mail through a remote smtp server. You cannot accept mail back in this way though. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/188870-sending-mail/#findComment-997184 Share on other sites
